Our Playgroup gives parents and caregivers with young children (birth to Kindergarten age) the opportunity to meet with the playgroup leader for a relaxed morning and to socialise.
The Playgroup is based on Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy with natural, plain toys and a rhythm of free-play, morning circle followed by morning tea and outside play.
Each session is concluded with a puppet story, which will be repeated for a term. Through this rhythm and repetition, young children experience a sense of familiarity, safety and security.
The Kuaotunu Playgroup meets every Wednesday throughout the school term in the Kuaotunu Community Hall from 9.00am to 11.30am.
