Dates & Events
A joyous and wondrous experience of the seasons and special occasions are celebrated at the Kuaotunu Kindergarten.
Gratitude and wonder are established through karakia and blessings at morning tea time, which is a comparatively formal, social time.
Each child’s birthday is celebrated with a special ceremony which includes the child’s family, as are other festivals through the year in the seasonal rhythm.
Our festival calendar includes:
Spring Festival, Easter Festival, Lantern Festival, Midwinter Solstice and Matariki, Harvest and Pumpkin Festival, Advent and Christmas. These events include the parents and whanau and sometimes the wider community.
